The whole day I was feeling depressed and stressed, I have seen it from other people who work here from abroad and it is a signal to look out. Suddenly everything started to become equal to you, all the news, all the stories, all things you are busy with, it is all bullshit and what to do. Ideas which normally coming within no-time are not coming at all and you get the feeling that you are empty. I think I have a reason to feel that way, since for nearly one and half year I am busy now and not really have taken any break, any distance from the every day reality. One of the reason to do this is of course the fact that people in Srebrenica, Zepa, Sarajevo, Mostar and all that other cities also can't take a break from the reality. They just can't get out of their place and go on holidays. On the hand I am not in any of those places, I live in war free Zagreb and even can leave the country any moment I want, it is not my country, it is (are) not my war(s). Still it cost me some time to realise this reality, I can take a break, I can go somewhere else and get new energy and ideas for the new period in the winter. Although today in Geneva the leaders, Milosovic, Tudjman, Izetbegovic, Boban and Karadzic seem to have reach an agreement for peace in BiH I have not really the feeling that we came with that agree on the point were we all have been waiting and fighting for the last 15 months and longer if you include the war in Slovenia and Croatia. There was even a message on the news today that the army leaders in BiH will have a meeting tomorrow in Sarajevo, but I wonder if I should take those things serious. Again this can be a part of the all over feeling of me of negativism, which is produced by being living at the top of my possibilities for the last 15 months. At the moment I may only see the dark side of live. A dark side which is of course getting stronger and stronger if you count all the problems together which we are facing day after day. One of those sceptic reaction is also aimed at the announcement of Clinton today. Again he said that the USA is prepared to bring in air support to protect the safe heavens in BiH. For weeks, nearly months, it is a public secret in this countries that the no- fly zone is one of those empty promises, which resulted in spending money like water without anything was happening. When there was that attack on Tuzla with Mig 21's from the Bosnian Serbian army and some EC monitors brought it in the open suddenly the rest of the world seems to have realised that flying with some F-16's over BiH is not really effective if you want to stop military airmovements in that area. I reported already a couple of times that the no-fly zone is been violated every day and that I was surprised that the world opinion was not putting any attention to it. The safe heavens are about the same empty thing, some where far away from the war zone some officials decided that some area's are now safe heavens and demilitarised and send in some military observers. Those observers observe violations and report them back to their international organisations, people around the world complain that those bloody idiots are not keeping their agreements and for a long time nothing will happen. Now Clinton announce that it can't go on that way that some thing has to be done about it. According to the announcement they are ready to bring in their airpower by the beginning of next week, that is about 4 days from now. I think I described that scenario some months before as well. If nothing would happen the states would come and take the heavy guns out with their airforces. Mladic, the general of Bosnian Serb army, have been joking about it ever since. When I was walking with Vesna this afternoon in Maksimir and I told her all those things she reacted a little in panic. Indeed I sounded different from normal, all those little problems which I normally laugh away and try to solve became mountains for me which I can't climb anymore. She also agreed that it is time to take a short break, to go away and forget for a few days all the things and try to clear up my mind again. Therefor I stayed at home this evening and didn't join her going to the next open debate which ARK organised this evening in the Cultural Centre, it is planned now to organise after every new ARKzin an open discussion about the major topic in ARKzin and since the last ARKzin came out last week Thursday today was the big evening. The topic, although a little bit changed, was related to the main topic of this months ARKzin, fascism in Europe. When she came back I ask her how it was, she told me that there were about the same amount of people as last time, this discussion about Croatian policy towards Bosnia, which ended in the remark of Krpina towards Zoran, which was the start of a public media campaign against ARK. Although this months topic would have given enough input for simular heavy discussions it somehow didn't happened. Vesna said that the content of the discussions this time was rather low. Remarkable was that the political parties, which attended the last open discussion were this time not any longer willing to send representatives for the discussion panel, maybe that was the reason why the fire works didn't came.
