The results leave no decision, if the referendum in Denmark about the EC was called a clear victory I wonder how this could be called, 96% of the people voted NO on the question of adopting the Peace plan of Vance-Owen and the same amount voted for the creation of an own Serbian state in BiH. Never the less Karazdic said that he will not yet consider doing this, declaring a Serbian state, at this moment, but will continue with the ongoing peace process. "We have" he said "Not been fighting with Croats for over 2 months now and we don't fight with Muslims already for 2 days, so......., but if Muslims don't want to talk Peace with us, if they are not ready, then we will only sign a agreement with the Croats only. We are very much in fever of peace." "But," he continued some moment later "we are making the borders around here and we don't want to give away what we have fight so hard for." Lord Owen is not really agree with Karazdic, the peace plan is not dead he said today and also the Russians are busy with a tour around the world to promote the plan, we will see. At 11.45 this morning the last grenade landed in the Zadar hinterland shot from the Krajina region, at 12.00 o'clock the cease fire started, hopefully it were really the last grenade and up till late afternoon today it seems to hold. At around 18.00 however new grenade fall on Zadar again. The second round of talks which would take place this afternoon Topusko, in the UNPROFOR base their, didn't took place, after waiting for 5 hours for the major delegate of the Knin government and their other delegate walking out before the talks the Croatian delegation decided to go home again. What didn't hold, or rather didn't came in practice was the cease fire between BiH armija and HVO, it must been said that the fights in Mostar are a lot less than the days before, but in the town and the surroundings gunfire still can be heard. And the safest way is to transport yourself in an armoured car. Also from Vitez the news came that fights are restarting again. On HTV it was said that BiH armija hasn't keep their promises to exchange prisoners with the HVO today. According to the same report HVO has now withdraw most of it's army from Mostar, they left only 200 troops behind. Nevertheless general Marillon made an agreement with both HVO and BiH armija today in Mostar that their will be new mixed police active in Mostar in the near future. The new petrol's will be done by a Croat, a Muslim and a UNPROFOR police agent together in one jeep. And off he went in his Spanish armoured troop transporter. For the first time in the history of this war the main bakery in Sarajevo stopped to work, already for more days there is again no water, no electricity and gas in the town and the bakery, which kept on working through the whole period run out of oil for their generators. The chief was really sorry, since not only their is no bread, but this going on producing is important for the spirit in the town. Never the less what happens we go on as normal as we can. It is also spring in Sarajevo, those who survived the war in the town so far are starting to use every free part of the town to seed vegetable in order to produce their own food. And that in a city which is slowly starting to have some kind of normal life, if you have money enough you can go to open pubs on sniper alley, or buy eggs for 3 DEM or..... but the shelling and shooting is not over yet. It is still possible to get killed if you are not fast enough, therefore the making of a video clip as a group in Sarajevo did for there song "Crossroad of Sarajevo" is remarkable. The clip is fantastic and it is rather unbelievable that it is made under conditions which are what they are. The musician running with their instruments through the street hoping for a safe place to shot another few seconds of film. The end line "I can never found out why" is indeed a question which nobody ever will be able to answer. In the Baranja area also the rebuilding will start, the Dutch town, servirely damaged in WWII has collected money for the rebuilding and had there talk with the local Croatian authorities in Osijek today. Also the first truck with materials, mostly second hand tools and nails, which they collected, for Terra's rebuilding project of Ravno, near Dubrovnik in BiH arrived yesterday in Citluk, from the Medjugorje Appeal group from Scotland. The UNHCR seems also be willing to help us there. Also I hope that my hometown takes a final decision to help as they were considering months ago when I asked it the first time. The frog outside drive me crazy with their noise the last days, but still rather them than gun fire and that is what I have to face again when I will go to Tuzla one of these days, Boris from a BBS in Ljubljana phoned me that he found somebody in Tuzla with the technical know how to run a BBS there and since some time it is possible to phone to Tuzla. Now it is a task to find the hard and software somewhere and go there to teach the guy.
