The games weren't over or it happened. It should have happened ones and it happened today, after nearly year or even longer having a UN declared none-fly zone over the whole are of BiH, which was nearly broken every day, today it finally happened, aeroplane have been shot down over BiH. Two American F-16, the Flying Falcons, using four side-winder missiles, shot down near Banja Luka (or near Novi Travnik, which is about 60 kilometer south-(south)-west of it) 4 Galeb aeroplanes, most likely Bosnian Serbian. According to the NATO spokesmen the Galebs were armed with board-cannons, cluster bombs and air-to-ground missiles. Sources in the UK say that the Bosnian Serbian Army has at least 20 of this fixed wing aeroplanes, which were normally, before the war, used as practice aeroplanes. Sarajevo radio said this morning that in the early morning Serb and Croatian aeroplanes has attacked BiHarmija held town. More precisely they said that Bosnian Serbian aeroplanes attacked Bugojno and Croat aeroplanes attack Novi Travnik. However the UNPROFOR and NATO spokesmen were sure that the both attacks were carried out by 6 of the Bosnian Serb Galeb, from which 4 were shot down, which were probably on their way back to their main bases in Banja Luka. Anyway a large smoke cloth was seen from the air above Novi Travnik and it looks if the ammunition was hit. Yes, what can I say the news is very fresh, radio Banja Luka hasn't announced it yet and on questions of the International press the spokesmen of the Bosnian Serbs said that he didn't know (yet) that those aeroplanes were downed. He literally said that they heard for months NATO aeroplanes coming over the town, day and night, but that he didn't heard that they actually shot anything down so far. Also the Serbian government avoid answering questions about, stating that they hadn't got any information from Banja Luka yet. A fact is that later this afternoon suddenly a heavy artillery has started against the town of Tuzla. As I said, what can I say, it was hanging literally in the air, after all the strong words from the last weeks it had to come to something like this. The NATO, especially USAmerica has send out enough messages that they should something in the last weeks. Much more interesting is actually the new "cold war" between the former "super powers". The "Janks" and the "Russians" are fighting there own cold war, in this game fit probably also the Russian spy, who was arrested in the USA this week, and knowing the scenario a bit in the coming weeks the Russian will arrest a spy working for the west. Somehow we have heard it all before in Europe. Today also the new ARKzin came out, again the printing was delayed hour after hour, but finally in the evening Vesna came home with the first newspaper. In it this week a big interview with me what Zoran has made a ten days ago. Vesna wasn't that satisfied with this ARKzin, but she is mostly not so happy directly after it is printed. Also in this ARKzin a long article about Dzakula, the news that he was free came just in time to include it in the article about him written by a journalist from Vreme (Beograd). From Beograd and Pakrac I got the news that Dzakula's health is not so good, as expected by his friend his visit in Glina jail didn't passed without violence and he is so beaten up that according the messages he has to be threaten in a real hospital. There for our friends from the Centre for Anti War Activities who have form a special committee to help Dzakula, first to find him and get the true out and now to get him to Beograd to be helped in a well equipped hospital. It is a little idiotic if you thing that his house in Pakrac stood about 300 meter away from one of the best equipped hospitals from Croatia, which is totally destroyed during the war. Even from his new place on the "other side" he has a perfect view on the hospital on the Croatian side. Another relative good equipped hospital stands in Daruvar, only 20 kilometer north and he has to be send to Beograd to get treatment. It sounds a lot like the situation in Mostar, where the Muslim on the East bank have a perfect view of the brand new hospital on the West bank, but are still dying since they can't get that 500 meter further to get the real help. Anyway our Beograd friends have issued a request towards Knin government to ask if they give Dzakula the permission to leave the sector and go to Beograd, let's hope they are agree with it. From the Netherlands I heard today that a group is busy to collect money to help us to build a primary school on the "other side". But it will cost a lot of money to transport it down to here, so it will take some time before they have money for the school and transport together, but at least the are busy with it.
