It is stupid to get your mind clear, just the last days we have been so busy with the Serbs here in West Slavonia, asking them, begging them to stay, not to go to Bosnia. Afraid that the men will be put in uniform directly and send to the Brcko fights. The rumours go here that 5 boys who went from Seovica area to Bosnia themselves 10 days ago, were immediatly picked up after they passed the Sava and were given an uniform and a riffle and send of to the fights. Two of them seem to have been killed and 3 are taken prisoner by HVO. Some people from Civil Affairs are trying to find out if the story is true and if HVO is willing to give this boys to HV, so they can be brought to Gavrinica to be able to tell that the stories are true. They were push, ordered, to fight in the Bosnian Serbian Army, the same army who just have launched this mortar and grenade attack on Tuzla some days ago, which caused the biggest (known) massacre since the war in BiH started 3 years ago. At least 68 people killed, and a few hunderd wounded, from which 31 serious, so the figure of killed people can get higher. Besides to person older than 40, it were all young people, the same age as those 5 boys we escape from West Slavonia. My mind is turning, how can I be feeling sorry for all those Serbs leaving West Slavonia and at the same time sorry for all those young people in Tuzla, which were obvious killed by a Serbian army. Which idiot has given the orders to pull the trickers of those heavy guns. Those young kids in Tuzla for sure were not fighting and I am sure that they also were dreaming of a peaceful future. Just like the young kids who were killed during the Croatian Police action on the first of May in Gavrinica. What ,oh what is producing such a general blind hate that people don't think about who they may can kill, but just let there grenades fly, not really asking themselves what and who is on the spot were the grenade comes down. It all makes no sence. Our friends in Tuzla who work on all different types of humanitarian and peace initiatives are as smashed at the moment as we were 3 weeks ago when the action took place in West Slavonia and the bombs came down in Zagreb. For what are we doing it all if a handfull idiots destroy in a few moments all you have been working for for such a long time, at least that how it seems in the first place. It is hard to refind time after time your motivation, some times it looks at least here in the Pakrac region that the local people have less problems with all that is happening than the internationals. Today onky a small drive through the villages, looking if some people were busy to prepare to leave on another convoy, tomorrow the things start again. I just needed a break, but can you get any in a war which seems to keep on going. I love this land, I love the people, I hope everybody will find a rest some times. Love, wam Mir od mene, Wam:-) ##/* ---------------------------------------------------------- ## There is NO way to peace, peace is the way. ##/* ------------------------------------------------------- ## CrossPoint v3.02 ##
